1. Who we are
Sidereal Tech Limited ("Sidereal Tech", "we", "us") is a mobile application media buying company incorporated in Hong Kong, with its registered office at Room 5042, 5/F, Yau Lee Centre, No. 45 Hoi Yuen Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. We operate the website at www.siderealtech.com and deliver advertising campaigns on behalf of advertisers.

2. Data we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Contact details you submit through our enquiry form or by email — name, company, work email address and messenger handle.
- The content of your enquiry, including campaign details you choose to share.
- Commercial and billing details if you become a client or supply partner.
2.2 Information collected automatically on this website
- Standard server log data: IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed.
- We run no analytics on this website, set no cookies of any kind, and make no requests to any third-party server. Fonts, styles, scripts and images are all served from www.siderealtech.com, so no other company sees your visit.
2.3 Information processed in advertising operations
When we run campaigns, our supply partners and measurement partners may process device and campaign identifiers such as advertising IDs (IDFA / GAID), IP address, device and OS type, approximate location derived from IP, and in-app event signals. We use this data solely to deliver, attribute, measure and protect campaigns against fraud.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 16 (or the applicable local age of consent).
- We do not build or sell standalone consumer profiles.
- Where an advertiser or publisher is the controller of end-user data, we act as a processor on their documented instructions.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To respond to enquiries — legitimate interest in operating a business, or steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
- To deliver and optimise campaigns — performance of a contract with the advertiser or publisher.
- To detect and prevent ad fraud — legitimate interest in protecting our clients and our own business.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
- Where consent is required (for example non-essential cookies or personalised advertising in certain jurisdictions) — consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary, and under written agreements, with:
- Mobile measurement partners (for example AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava) for attribution and fraud detection.
- Advertisers and publishers we contract with, limited to campaign-level and event-level reporting.
- Service providers who host our website, send our email, or provide accounting and legal services.
- Authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Where your data goes
Sidereal Tech Limited is incorporated in Hong Kong. Our business email is hosted by a provider in mainland China, so correspondence you send us is stored there. The measurement partners named in section 4 process campaign data in the United States and the European Union. Browsing this website itself sends your data to no one but us.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or another jurisdiction that restricts international transfers, this means personal data you give us leaves that jurisdiction. Write to privacy@siderealtech.com for details of the arrangements covering a specific transfer.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiry correspondence: kept for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the exchange, then deleted.
- Client and supplier records: for the duration of the contract plus the statutory retention period applicable to accounting records.
- Campaign and attribution logs: kept while the campaign runs and for as long as we must be able to reconcile it against your own reporting and our invoices, then deleted or aggregated.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. California residents additionally have rights to know, delete, correct and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@siderealtech.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Opting out of interest-based advertising
You can limit ad tracking on your device at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads, then delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalisation.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, encryption in transit, and limiting personal data access to staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
